I have called my cousin who manages a corp store and she can't comfirm i am grandfarthered in. I called custmer service and they told me i had to change plans if i bought the bionic when it comes out. The customer service guy did an upgrade over the phone to 4g and it didn't ask for a change in my plan it went though. Can someone tell me if i need to change over to a verizon plan bf the 7/7 deadline.
I am still on a alltel plan when I upgrade to the bionic

How many threads like this are people going to make? Why not call verizon or do a little forum searching and you will see.
NO, you do not! As long as you are only upgrading your phone and DO NOT touch the plan, you keep what you have. If any Rep. or anyone else tell you any different, they are dead wrong!
I have a Thunderbolt on an AllTel plan and will get a Bionic on one as well.
they upgraded me over the phone and it didn't ask for a plan change but the guy said after the 7th he didn't know for sure. So I will just upgrade to the bionic when it comes out and not change the plan. I will pitch a fit and call someone if the try and make me change it.
No prob. It happened a few years back most wouldnt know unless you were a customer of alltel.
