I cannot Fast charge my S6 and cannot connect it on my pc, any solutions?

I cannot Fast charge my S6 and cannot connect it on pc .

I have been using my S6 for almost 7 months . I didn't face any problem yet . But once I came to my bedroom to charge my mobile . because only 2% battery was remaining so i connected the charger to my phone and it shows no sign of charging . after sometime my phone turned off because only 2% battery was remaining. I was so worried . I tried again and again but no sign of charging . then i put my phone aside and almost after 6 or 7 hours I again connect the fast charger. then my mobile begins to charge . But now the problem is that I cannot fast charge my mobile and cannot connect my mobile to laptop for transferring the data. it only shows cable charging. kindly help me out

Hi, I presume you are using the same charger you have always been using, nothing has changed in that respect? do you have a wireless charger to hand that you could use to power up your phone to 100% ? you might have a hardware issue with the charging port on the phone.

yes I am using the same charger. I can Charge My phone up to 100% . but how can I transfer huge amount of data in GBs from phone to PC and vice versa? I have been using FTP server which transfer data through wifi router , but that speed is very slow.

I'd suggest either using an OTG cable to a USB stick or turn on sharing on the PC and use a file manager program that understand PC shares. The stick will probably be faster.

Just making sure but I hope you know that you have to accept the connection on your phone before it shows up on your PC as a drive.

Read my post, "Not charging after a factory reset?" (http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s6/700244-not-charging-after-factory-reset.html). If you have received the Marshmallow update, the issue is with the S6 and receiving the Marshmallow update. My phone is now useless.
