I can't choose: black or white?

Also the white isn't a bright white. It's more of a bone color if that makes sense. I don't look at it in bright sunlight though so maybe it's brighter than it seems under fluorescent light.

I think the op meant because the sides of the panda version is glossy unlike the black version. It gives the appearance that the glass extends over the sides.

Or you could get the black version, order the white backplate and color in the X in Nexus with paint markers and replace the back like I plan on doing. That way I have grips on the sides and a cool back to it. It'll be going in a case with a clear back though

Are you sure you should get the North American version? Even though the radio bands may match it doesn't mean it will work as well. We just had someone from New Zealand (I think) who had wanted to have a family member bring a Nexus 5 from the states. Someone who knows more about radios than I do said it's likely the American version won't work well there despite some matching bands.

Hi! Maybe both those problems. If I can find that other thread I'll see what they said could go wrong. Anyway they recommend getting the Europe/world version.

I read the linked article and they do say the North American version can be used while traveling internationally so maybe it is fine. It might have some problems though that would make it inconvenient to use permanently. I wish there were a way to know exactly what might go wrong.

I was not to keen on the White version as it seemed to be some sort of cross-over between black and white, such as the camera still being black on the back of the camera looked particularly odd.

I've done the opposite of this, using a white version (I prefer the glossy sides) and finding a black back plate.

Where can you actually find back covers? I couldn't find one on Ebay!
