I can't play new videos after using an SD card on my Samsung smartphone

I use a Galaxy Ace 3. The other day, I transferred a few files to my SD card to save space, including the folder that stores pics/ videos, and my Whatsapp folder as well. Now, i find that i can't play any videos. The old ones the new ones, even new videos people send me through Whatsapp.

I do have a feeling that the SD card screwed up something in my phone's system but I am not sure what it is.

Do help.

Welcome to Android Central! There's been a bug with Google+ recently that is causing problems with video playback. First try uninstalling updates to G+, then reinstall updates, and see if that helps.
