I can't receive pictures through text messaging on my S8+.

It says its downloading but never ends up coming through. How do I fix this? I have never had this issue with previous versions of the phone

Welcome to the forums. Do you have a download limit size set? There is also a difference between the Messages app and Messages+. You have to use the + app for MMS. Pictures come thru okay on my S8+ using Messages.

What is this messages+ you are referring to? I've never heard of having to use another app for MMS.

What is this messages+

I have two 'native' messaging apps on my Verizon S8+, Messages and Messages+. Messages will not allow MMS, + needs to be used for that. TMK, that came along with Nougat. May also be a Verizon thing.

That's so weird. I don't have a messages+ app on my unlocked S8+ and my messages app sends pictures just fine.

Messages+ is a Verizon app, that has a nice Windows interface.
