I cant see pictures that get sent to me on text messages !

I bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 Unlocked from AT&T and connected it to Metro PCS, but it doesnt let me receive picture messages and sometimes it doesnt let me send text messages when I use emojis. Someone help me please
