I can't wait to hear more!

It's got a 1620 for a battery, which is hotter than the 1500 in my Berry. I'm expecting that HTC and Seidio will come out with extended batteries. As for ICS, that depends on how they integrate Sense into it and how long it takes for them to get it right. I'm thinking 4-5 months at best. HTC is good with their updates. I think it's more important that they get it right than get it fast. As for the GNote, why bother? These phones will do just fine for my next phone cycle, then we'll see what the latest and greatest is.

I agree no need for the note. Im debating on sg2 or vivid but I might go with vivid.

hopefully this phone isnt just available for LTE areas? i keep reading on a few websites it might be. even though im not in an LTE area id still buy this phone

There have been one or two reports like that but the general drift from everyone else is that these phones are for general release. That makes more sense, as these phones are also HSPA+ capable, and ATT would be wise to get LTE capable phones out to a wide audience (especially here in the Northeast) to justify the expense of rolling out all those LTE tower upgrades. As I see it, you want to have people get these phones to build interest.

Don't worry, you're covered. It's LTE, HSPA+, regular 3G, Edge, and Micro cell compatible.

It wouldn't make much sense (no pun intended) to make a phone with only one connection method. All manufacturers make their phones, especially superphones, backward compatible.

Long hold on album/artist/song/playlist in google music and "make available offline". Google music will then download music physically onto your phone and you can listen to it on demand. Google Music is the shnizz

i have a google music account but that app keeps all of my music on the cloud so i need to always have an internet connection. i was hoping to have my music in my device.

Now we start getting into the stuff I'm going to have to learn as I transition to Android from this miserable BlackBerry. I have a few clues from working a little with my wife's Inspire, but I plan on learning to be as close to expert as I can on this one. I'll be living a bit in these forums while I learn from all of you who already are power users.

Same goes for me! I have a Blackberry Torch 9800 right now and I'm really looking to get rid of it.
