i f'd up my evo need help desperatly

i tried folling sum instructions on getting my evo to read the sd card.. i have no luck whats ever.. my usb and sd card dont work for my phone and i need to know how can i get my evo to atleast read the sd card so i can run my nand to recover the phone.
the steps that were giving before dont work for me. if there is a way to get my phone to recover from my pc than please let me know so i can fix this.. it would be gr8tly appreciated..

I know it sounds silly but did you check to make sure the card is seated properly in your EVO? When I got my Incredible (it's a slightly different phone and set up, admittedly) the card that came with it wasn't actually properly inserted by the dude at the Verizon store so I needed to give it an extra push to click it into place.

Sorry if that's not helpful. I know the way the card sits in the EVO is a bit different and under the battery, but I thought I'd try and help anyway.
