I was holding until the next one (Galaxy Watch 8?), to see if they brought back the rotating bezel, but T-Mobile offered a good deal, so I went ahead and gave in...
I got the silver 44mm, see picture.

I'm not new to smart watches, I have the original Samsung Gear orange watch, the one with the camera, see pics.

I also have the dark gray Gear S2 and the best of them all; the Gear S3 Frontier! See pics.

So far, I'm happy with the GW7, but it doesn't have a rotating bezel, I keep trying to use it as such, then it clicks; this one has a virtual rotating bezel.
Let me tell you, it's NOT the same!
It feels weird, unnatural, even.

What face is that in the last pic?

That is an attractive face!

How are you liking the watch itself?
Thanks! There are many, MANY nice and useful watch faces, even free ones!
Check the picture of a another one of my favorites.

This watch is really nice, can't deny that I like it, but I still keep trying to rotate the bezel, as on my Gear S3 Frontier...

I'm glad you're enjoying the GW7. 😊

I have the GW6 Classic. I'm hoping by the time I need (or want) a new one, the rotating bezel will appear on that year's model. 🤞

Well, my Watch Ultra gave it up today. It's still under warranty but I'm not going to bother with it. I've come to despise this watch. It is inaccurate as a step counters, the sleep monitor has been getting worse month by month and the readings now have to relation to reality.

As it happens I had ordered a Garmin Venue 3 which was supposed to arrive today but is delayed because of the storms.

BTW, I measured the Ultra's readings against other devices I have like an Oura 4 ring and some Polar gear I have. Those were close to each other but the Ultra seemed to be in it's own little universe in terms of accuracy.

That's so disappointing! 😞 I'm truly sorry.

Sounds like you got a real lemon. 🍋

That's cool. As a person who doesn't own a smartwatch and wears mechanical watches, I approve.
I've used watches (mechanical and digital ones; Casio calculator anyone?) Since I was 5 years old, according to my mom, I used to pestered my dad about wanting a watch like his.

Mom and dad got me one, she doesn't remember exactly what kind, but thinks it was a Citizen, either a fake or real, she doesn't remember...

From then on, I've had many different watches (I've always loved Bulova for some reason), until around 2009, I stopped and used my phone to check the time (my beloved Palm Prē).

After that, in 2013 or 2014 I got the Samsung Gear Watch, the one with the camera on the band, since then, I've been using only smartwatches.

The Gear S3 Frontier is the one I've used for many years and the one I've liked the most so far (smartwatches wise, not in general).
Time will tell if the GW7 takes that spot or not...

Man, that sucks!
I would still get it replaced or fixed under warranty, it's only fair; that's your hard earn money.

In any case, you could sell it or give it away after they fix/replace it.
Shoot, I'll buy it! If only to have one of each (GW7 and Ultra) for different occasions... although, I really don't love the Ultra because I prefer round watches, Samsung apparently couldn't decide on a round, square or other shape watch for the Ultra for some reason.

Is it normal when you put the watch on a wireless charger it turns back on ? My watch 4 when I would turn it off and put it on the wireless charger it would stay off while charging.

That's the behavior with mine, it's my first Samsung watch so unless there's a setting I'm missing it's intended.

I'm not sure about the Watch 7, but on my Watch 6 Classic, there is a toggle in the Wearable App under• Watch Settings • Display • that turns the 'Show charging info' off. Again, not sure if that feature is still available in the Watch 7.

I can also find the toggle directly on my watch.
