I got a PowerBear 6600 mAh battery

If it's anything like the Hyperion one I brought a while back you should be getting between 8 and 10 SOT. However sometimes the battery is not recognized properly and you still may only get about 6 hours SOT. But for the most part, they rock.

I actually just ordered a Hyperion as well.

I like the hump on the back. And I have gotten quite used to never plugging in my V20, so I just swap batteries. And I don't want to go from the incredible life of the PowerBear back to the lame life of stock.

So i figured I would get the Hyperion and see how it compares to the PowerBear.

It's super nice with a soft touch back plate. I love how it's not thick like those ZeroLemon ones. I actually fried mine on vacation and never bought another one which I'll probably do. Yeah they don't do well with water.lol

Do these batteries make Android Pay unusable?

I believe so, but I don't use Android Pay so I can't confirm. But I think the metal connectors on the back plate are used for NFC and the replacement backs do not have those metal connections.

Nice, will come in handy when you're traveling. I don't really need an extended battery, my phone usually lasts all day especially if on battery saving mode, I get at least 2x battery life with it on. I don't mind carrying external batteries since they are pretty slim and I have a QC 3.0 in my car so I get juice extremely fast.

I don't use any battery saving techniques, but I don't want to use those either, which is why I like the LG V20 and the Moto Z2 Force

So i can use a spare battery or an extended battery for the LG V20, or the battery Mod for the Moto Z2 Force

I got 25 hours of use out of a full battery, with about 6 hours of screen on time. But i never have a high SOT. so that is actually pretty impressive for my usage

I made a video of it, but I have not posted it yet. I just checked and I didn't get a screenshot but I do show it on the video.

I will post the video on here when it is done.

Right now I am using the Hyperion, which seems like should have similar results.

However, the Hyperion seems to have much cheaper packaging and lower quality accessories.

Even though I think I like the cheap back that came with the Hyperion better.

6 hrs SOT is impressive enough. Can you share the graph?

I get 6 hours SOT with the stock battery, if I charge it fully -- which I rarely do.

Here's what AccuBattery says on my V20, and it's pretty accurate in terms of its predictions. From 80% I get just over 4 hours SOT before the "low battery warning" comes on, which is very friendly to the battery in terms of cycle-life damage. If I need more then I charge it fully, but this gets me through most days, or at least until late in the afternoon when a quick top-up charge is enough to get the phone through the overnight without being float-charged.

Note that Accubattery says my battery's health is effectively brand new (almost-exactly 100%) and that certainly matters. If it's only at 80% of original capacity then you could only expect 5 hours SOT, etc.

I would never get close to 6 hours on the stock battery, but I am a pretty heavy user, which is why I got the PowerBear and Hyperion
