I got an Android, but want to go back to the iPhone. Why is this?

Well, I stopped in Best Buy tonight. Went to the Samsung display. The new 8.4" is indeed...gorgeous. What are they calling it?..."The Tab Promiscuous 8.4"? The Note 3's were so...big. ...not in a bad way either, but I could see me tiring of the size again quickly and wanting something more "normal" sized. I'm not gonna knock Samsung. ...but I'm happy right where I am right now with my iDevices.

Re: Got an Android but want to go back to iPhone. Why is this?

It is clear that Google now is better at the web, and Siri is better with the apps. I love them both. Love my nexus's and notes 3, love my 5 s. The app integration with siri smokes Google now, but the web based services of Google smoke siri. Are you a app user or a web browser? LMAO!

I don't carry extra technological baggage in the form of opinions of how to carry on a conversation with technology....i just get to the point.

I used iOS for nearly 3 years and started using Android from past 6 months.
I used WP for 7 months.

It took me 2 months time to settle with WP.

It took me 2 months to get used with android after switching from WP.

Basically it takes some time to get used to.

If you constantly use a single device for like one year, you will definitely feel home with Android.

Stick with only one thing.

only stock android or only sense or only touchwiz etc.

Right now, touchwiz feels like home to me because I did use lot of Android devices in past when helping my friends or family with their devices and all were touchwiz.

Touchwiz didn't change much, even button layout is pretty much same even though stock and other skins moved on to different styles.

When iOS 6 was there, I always felt like returning back to it.
iOS 7 changed that feeling. Now TW is my new home lol.

I will stick with it until it changes.

I have been using ios 7 on my iPad and it is growing in me slowly.

If TW changes, I will jump to post-ios 7 (devices which will maintain the ios 7 familiarity in future)

That is the point of 88% of androids....has been that way for eons.....don't you worry now, cheap android devices will continue to fill the land fills.
LOL, the best selling android phones are the One, S4, Note, Moto X and Nexus. None of those are low end. The majority of Android phones sold in the US are not cheap phones.

That being said, you can buy Apple phones on contract at every price range. There are plenty of cheap Apple phones as well. And I think it says a lot that even the cheapest Android phones can do stuff that the best iPhones still can't do.

Android is way way way better than iOS and android phones are way better than iPhones. Google Now is just better than Siri. Now, with that said, where are my iPhones and iPads? I've got stuff to do.

How is the iPhone more productive? It actually does less and most of the functions it does do take longer.

Honestly for productivity I would put a BlackBerry (Q10 or Z30), any high windows phone, and any high end android phone over an iPhone for productivity.

I guess that depends on how you define productivity. For me it is the ease and speed of sharing information and accessing information. I have not seen anything as flexible as the Android Share menu so far. Any app can be integrated fully into Android, and immediately becomes accessible through this menu. I can attach anything I want to emails, and even if I could not, I can still use any email program as my default.

It has gotten better with android. Samsung is a beast, but I wish we could get HTC/Apple build quality on more android devices.

So you can admire it more? Build quality does not sell phones. Samsung can attest to that.

Exactly this. But I will say Blackberry 10 can do this too. Windows phone not so much if at all. I meant more along the lines of moving from app to app and consistent speed and superior emailing and editing documents and files. Though on the email part Android falters sometimes.

I like anything well engineered, who doesn't admire good craftsmanship?

I think Apple build quality is overrated myself. I do agree it is good, but I think people often exaggerate it. Cracked screens are so common on iPhones that they have become a cliche.

Not that anyone else is any better. But Apple is not the be-all end-all of build quality IMO. Mostly they are good with details like light bleed or speaker clarity. I would describe it as polished, not necessarily durable.
