I got my Xoom upgraded to 4G, who else got there's?

Yup, I think that's going to prove to be quite accurate. The big question is...how much of a drain will it really be? I mean I can get 10 hours off the Xoom in my normal travel usage pattern. With LTE, I'd be ok if it's, say, 8 or 9 hours, but if it's down to like 5 or 6 we're going to be in trouble. :)

I think it will depend on what you are doing. If you are doing streaming of videos and such it be the 5 to 6 hours.

I read an article about the samsung 10.1 with 4g. It has TWICE the battery the xoom has. This particular review said that he was only able to get 4 hours of surfing with 4G on. With half the battery, I can only imagine that we will get less.

My MT4G using HSPA+ battery didn't do very well but, I had it plugged to the car charger whenever I went somewhere so, that helped. I could basically get through the day, with moderate use but, I had better remember to put it on the charger before I went to bed.

Unlike the Iphone, which could be at around 80% when I go to bed and, still at around 78-80% when I woke up; the Mytouch would be at around 15%

I would say if your a power user, to keep a car charger around and, use it when traveling somewhere. It would also be good to have another charger with you, in the office, at work or wherever you are. It kind of sucks but, that's the way it is. The thing I like about the Xoom's charger is, it charges rapidly (both the car and dock).

I signed up yesterday, got FedEx tracking information for my box to ship back. Yesterday it said it would be here today, but by the tracking info in the FedEx site it appears that the box never left Motorola. **Sigh**

I got all of my stuff backed up and did a factory reset. Hope I get the box on Monday.

Yea, I'm in the same position. Not sure what happened there. Not overly pleased about that.

You're not alone however, I've gotten stuff from FeEx in the past when it showed no change in the tracking information on their website. It hasn't happened often but, it has a few times. Either way I need to run some errands and, may just have to go out but, knowing my luck; that's when it will arrive. I may just have to bite the bullet and, wait until Monday.

I haven't given up hope for today, either. It's very possible they just haven't updated the tracking site. They claim it'll be here by 4:30pm. We'll see.

Same here, wish I hadn't reset it yet if I'm going to have it over the weekend!

Oh well, it's not 4:30 yet...

I got 2 tracking numbers. One box left the other didnt. There should be a box at my house shortly. Too bad it will have to wait till Monday to be shipped out now

I didn't reset mine. I simply encrypted it and called it good. I'm beginning to consider myself lucky on that one. Usually fedex delivers to my house by 1 at the very latest, so, I'm pretty sure I won't be getting anything today. sigh.

You will I was in the same boat and my tracking info just updated. It is not scheduled to be here until Monday. That irks me as I submitted the claim early Thursday Morning it should have been here today.

The posts have been interesting. Firdt, the service you signed up for earlier in the year was for notification of upgrade availability, not the upgrade. You are notified by this to register for the actual upgrade. In the upgrade you have to register your ESN/MEID. Its that simple. They don't know where to ship the box from the original registration as it only asked for the email address. Remember???

As for how fast? FEDEX picked mine up on a Monday afternoon, they upgraded it and sent it back on Tuesday and I got it back on Wednesday. Pretty fast.

Yup. That's exactly right. But it also made that sign up rather useless considering I didn't get the "go here to upgrade" email until this morning...24 hours after I had already signed up for the upgrade. LOL! Still, for those that don't follow the Android websites, it might be a useful notification email I guess.

That's pretty sweet. But I suspect that demand is going to be pretty high and that the turn around time will probably be a bit longer now that it's open to everyone. They're saying 6 business days. Assuming I can send it out on Monday, that means the following Tuesday or Wednesday. Still not horrible. Better than the 6 weeks I had read earlier this summer! :)

Yeah, I got the email saying the upgrade was ready after I had already submitted my information. I'm almost sure I won't get it today, my tracking status still hasn't changed. I'm glad I took care of some things and, didn't sit around the house all day waiting.

I'm pretty happy now that everything has got going so, I'm patient about it. Hopefully by the time I get the Xoom back, I will know about the Nexus prime and Iphone 5. :)

I'm not going to stress about it. My status hasn't changed, either, which means it hasn't been sent. As long as it comes sometime next week I'm fine. But, I'd really like to get one of the docks. I could definitely use it.

Well I am a little bit more impressed. I just received an email saying my packaged was delivered to my home. It was sent via standard overnight delivery.

Oh sure....the doubter in the group gets his first. I see how it is! :D LOL!!

My status has not changed either. The expectied time of delivery has expired. I called Moto Support, and the were no help. Told me it could take several days for me to get the box. **sigh** I"m starting to get pissed again...........
