I got my Xoom upgraded to 4G, who else got there's?

For those of you who received yours, how long did your OTA take? I've had mine up for six hours, and it still hasn't been activated. I just did the 'shut down, remove and replace the SIM and startup' about 1/2 hr ago, still with no effect.

Does it matter if you are connected via WiFi or not?

With my Bionic, I had to call because I had a flashing triangle in the notification area. I found out that Verizon had to turn on the LTE service on my account before I could even see the LTE symbol in the notification area.

decided to call motorola for the hell of it and they informed me the device shipped. super excited should have it tomorrow. will keep you guys posted.

That's pretty nice. So maybe most of ours have shipped and they just haven't gotten around to updating the tracking site yet. I'm good with that if that's the case. :) I'd LOVE to have it back tomorrow.

I am posting from mine now. It took me about 15 minutes to install all my apps from the market, and now I am going to get all of my Amazon apps that don't come in automatically. Like others, I really feel like the unit is much more responsive...but could be the reset I did. Maybe I need to reset more often. That was my first reset since I got the Xoom in March!

Mine as near instantaneous. Had an error and had to reboot but worked after that. And yes I did turn off wifi.

Mine either. But let's just hope it's a matter of them not updating the tracking site yet.

There's that. Either way it is hard for me to understand why they would just let devices sit for a day. Six business days for something that didn't even take a day is ridiculous.

I have to agree with you on that. If these things were really done last night, what's the hold up getting them out now??

I'm still hoping they're failing on the tracking site side of this equation. Meaning, let's hope they actually did ship them and just haven't updated us that it's shipped. I'd REALLY like to have mine back tomorrow, too.

I got my tracking number around lunch time, but still hasn't hit Fedex yet... so they may send them in batches. Last week same thing happened as I got my tracking number for the return box at 8am on Thurs, but it didn't hit the FedEx location until Sat at noon.

EDIT: They probably split up the responsibilities. So someone does the data entry to update the FedEx records, and someone else then later adds the label and boxes it up... hence the lag.

Don't get me started on FedEx tracking. Their site is worse than Moto's. Case in point, I never saw the FedEx site change even AFTER I got my box. So, this could be another situation like that.

Complete frustration. Talked to customer support, got the standard answer.....five business days to return. Moto no Mo. The Xoom is my last Moto product for a while.

I hope so.

Still no status update change on mine. Come on Moto, it's been there since Monday. It's very aggravating and frustrating to read about XOOM's received there on Tuesday that have already been updated and shipped back: http://forums.androidcentral.com/mo...ded-4g-who-else-got-theres-9.html#post1322459

Way to fail on the process Moto.

Mine arrived Monday, MOTO sent their email on the 5th saying they received it. MOTO's website says the upgrade was completed on the 5th. That's it. Why the delay for sending it back?

I would rather talk to my cable company than their customer disservice.
