I got my Xoom upgraded to 4G, who else got there's?

Mine as near instantaneous. Had an error and had to reboot but worked after that. And yes I did turn off wifi.

I finally got mine updated - had to call VZW. Turns out the SIM card was not activated in their system. The rep joked with me that they turned it around so fast, VZW didn't have a chance to activate it. I received and shipped the Xoom on Monday, and received it with the update yesterday (Thursday). At any rate, after VZW activated the SIM card in their system, it activated, but only into 3G. They had me power cycle the Xoom, which resulted in an error and auto-reboot. But when it came back up, I had 4G.

Now to re-enable WiFi to make sure I don't blow through my data plan.

My status never changed. No email that it was mailed out. Very depressing. Doesn't look like I'll get it til Monday if the tracking site is accurate.

Same here. Kind of aggravating. Because in my opinion, MOTO is purposely holding off and delaying shipping these things back.

*sigh* Looks like mine is still just sitting there with a tracking number since yesterday... but not going anywhere. I bet I get it on Monday :(

Yeah, I'm in the same boat as you. It works out for me because, I'm at work all day and, wouldn't be able to receive it anyway.

It really does seem that way which makes no sense to me. If the RMA is actually complete, put it in a **** box and ship it. That doesn't seem like rocket science to me. Definitely frustrating for sure. There is always the hope that the tracking site is wrong, but, it sure isn't looking that way.

Well, I'm working from home and really was hoping to have it back before the weekend. That's looking less likely as time moves forward. The FedEx truck usually delivers around now so if I see it in my neighborhood and it doesn't deliver it, I know I'm screwed until Monday. Joyous.

The whole Xoom issue really has become one **** up after another. It started with the repeated delay's in upgrading our devices. They waited until the very last business day of September for some of us to fulfill their last promise of upgrading our devices by the end of Summer 2011.

Well, I'm sorry, but sending out boxes the last business day of the month does not qualify as upgrading my device by the end of Summer 2011. There was a glimmer of hope for me when it appeared they were trying to do the right thing when the box that I received was for overnight M-F shipping. Unfortunately, that hope has been shot to hell. I really would like to think that their computer systems haven't updated, but, at this point, I doubt that is the case. It seems to me that MOTO isn't going to get these things shipped until Monday.

I have a theory...I believe that they are processing these RMAs and filling a FedEx container truck. Once the container is filled, they call FedEx and have them pick it up. If your RMA is processed near the beginning of filling a container, you may have to wait longer. If it is processed at the end of filling a container, then it ships quickly.

You are probably right on that. Either way, it is !@#$#!#@$ up. MOTO is not a company that demonstrates character or integrity.

To be fair, they did say 6 business days round trip, so, if they get it to us on Monday they will be fulfilling their "promise". That being said, I agree and find it sad that if the work is done, and has been for over a day now in my case, that it shouldn't be complicated to ship the thing back. It should not have to sit there waiting to be put in a box and shipped out. In any case, none of this rivals my experience with my first Xbox 360 that died 4 weeks after I got it...having itself been delayed 4 weeks after launch even though I preordered it. THAT was a long process. :D I can wait til Monday if I have to. Not thrilled about it, but, it could be worse.

Hmmm, that's certainly a decent theory and one I hadn't fully considered. Still, that sucks. :D

I would be mad too...I don't blame you. I have no patience, especially when we have been forced to have more patience with the Xoom than Mother Theresa could have mustered. I feel like I finally have a 100% functioning device. It's something that I am proud to show people now.

The thing is, unless the packages go out today, we will not receive them on Monday. I think they are going out on Monday.

I can wait too. I simply do not think I should have to wait. The upgrade is complete, they should return my property to me now.

Honestly, I hope that I am wrong, and if I am, I'll gladly admit it. But, at this point, I don't think I am.

Just wait til ICS is released for it. I suspect that'll make it even more useful. Who KNOWS when that'll actually happen but I think ICS is going to be pretty awesome. But yea, at this point, I'd just like to get my Xoom back. Starting to miss it now.

It is garbage like this that makes me truly question whether or not, I will purchase another Motorola device. I definitely will not recommend their products to anyone anymore.
