Anyway, every time I press "Check new", the little box pops up that it's checking for new software, then after a few seconds, it goes away, and I get nothing. I tried restarting my phone, and it's still doing it. :/

Downloaded, kicked off the install, and after the reboot there's a screen with an exclamation point and the android guy. Been here for about 10 minutes. This part of the upgrade process or should i be worried?

I would be worried... you should call Verizon and go berserk on them.

Hit the menu button and saw that the signature verification failed. Kicking off a new download of the update now.

if you are still getting free mobile hotspot today (I was), the update will kill it.

Just got the notification it was available! I've been checking all day and kept getting the service unavailable so I knew something was up. Hopefully no more reboots

Just got the update, about 1/2 way thru. Going slow as far as downloads go. Don't want to sound ungrateful but was hoping we got Gingerbread. That is just bull ****. I guess anything is better then nothing.

Same here, mine downloaded but never did say installing or rebooting or anything. So I just rebotted on my own. Have to see if that installed it.

I just installed the update and my Mobile hotspot is working and I wasn't prompted to subscribe to the service.
