You shoulda downloaded on your computer and just copied to the SD card root. Takes about 3 minutes.

Thanks so I am guessing that you flash it the same as all the others in hboot and rename it PG05IMG

Yup, just follow the directions from that link. After it's done and boots up the first time, I skip the setup steps and do a factory data reset (master reset) to clear everything to a clean slate. Then setup the phone as needed.

woohoo 1x trick worked for me. i had wifi on but mid download i switched back to auto and it actually took advantage of the wifi and downloaded real quick. i am glad i don't have the thunderstorm intro anymore too.

Don't really want to wipe my phone. But can't get the update OTA. Any suggestion on how to force 1x? I can toggle between 4g and 3g but not sure how to force 1x...

Mine updated yesterday and everything is all messed up! The check box to leave a copy of email on the server is gone and I can't send emails. The message says the settings are incorrect but they aren't. At first I couldn't receive or send emails. Best Buy fixed it . . . . . for awhile. Later last night, same thing, not sending or receiving. Then today, can't send again. I'm wondering if I can uninstall the update and then reinstall it??

u cant remove the update. it sounds like you need to do a factory reset

My phone seems to be working fine, went 4+ days without a reboot, GPS working much better. Did not see much change in battery life, might be slightly better but my normal service area is 3G. Have not spent much time in 4G area yet.

Well, I uninstalled then reinstalled my email and now it seems to be working. However, I did this yesterday also, so I'll see. I want to thank everyone for all the help/input/suggestions. This forum is awesome!

if it acts up again to do a factory reset go to setings-sd/phone storage. factory reset will be the last option on the bottom

Is the option to 'leave a copy on the server' gone? Before the option was in settings, Send & Receive. I use Outlook 2007 on my laptop and I like to leave the emails there when I delete them off my phone but I can't find that option anywhere.

its a mix bag some people had to call others could do it right in the app.

I still haven't received the update. I'm not rooted, nor did I install any linked update. I'm 100% stock and everything works fine, minus the far and very few reboots.
