i hate KIT KAT! I can't save to the sd any more

i wish i never updated this thing. it was fine before hand, it added nothing i needed.

right now, i have an issue where the network is on, but shows its off, which is annoying.


but mostly it can't write to the SD card any more, making it impossible for many of my programs to work. i had to move a huge piece of software to my main memory which i don't have much left at all. and when i export data, (a map log file), i can't save it to SD and i can't see the android directories on my pc because it's hidden).

i don't see how this is useful at all, i wish there was a way to turn this new feature off, or say its ok per program like any normal piece of software does. and why i can't see it in windows is beyond me.

i don't want have to root this phone. i know this isn't a security issue, you want us to buy new phones with more internal memory - that's the only reason why anyone would disable the SD card. but right now i need to access the data my program made.
