I have a blank unresponsive screen, how can I fix it?

I have a blank unresponsive screen

Last night it was working perfectly fine. I woke up with it charging and then plugged it out. It wouldn't turn on. Unresponsive black screen. No charging,no sounds,NOTHING. I tried holding down the volume button and power button at the same time but it won't work. I have a ZTE phone..

If you can remove and replace the battery, do so, then press Power for a minute or so.
If no go, the battery may be discharged or faulty, among other possibilities.
