I have a Moto X Pure Edition, you have questions. Lets play!

How does the included bumper case feel ? Does it offer sufficient protection and grip for a phone with smooth, wood back ? would you care to post a few pictures with this case ?

Thank you!

I'm not a fan. It feels cheap and isn't snug to the phone. Took it off almost immediately.

Serious question: can you give it to a female runner (or spindly built man) for a test run, and tell me how they carried it? Don't imagine it would fit at all into women's running shorts/skirts pockets, or an arm sleeve if you have normal sized arms? (I guess a man with larger arms may not have this problem...)

Also, can you upload some action shots (moving objects)?

Lastly, is the screen noticeably worse than OLED?

Thanks!

Does it have double tap to wake and sleep?

How much available storage space is there on the 16GB? I'm figuring with Marshmallow having much improved SD card integration that 16GB should be sufficient to go with my 64GB SD card.

Does it have that funky pink blotch effect the Turbo was so good at? Or is the screen color pure over the entire area when looking at largely single toned images such as a Kindle reading page?

Hi Sir, I will like to know if Moto X Style support Bluetooth AptX and also photography Raw format.

Thanks

Any speaker distortion or crackling when listening to notification tones.. And do you see any stutters or lag?

Russell, can you explain further on your comment that it's a plastic phone? I thought it had a metal frame (Moto X)....or were you referring to the 1+ phone?

Also, what is your favorite OLED phone/screen? Thx!

Front facing flash is more useful than I originally imagined.

I'm using a Nexus 6 at the moment and am wondering which one you would keep as your daily driver? Unlike most comments I see, I love how big it is and also the AMOLED screen.

Why worry about the stock photo app? There are plenty of android photo apps in the play store that are usually better than the original app. Have you tried any like Better Camera or others?

Hi Russel, how's Moto Display working on the phone, in terms of notifications, with the non-AMOLED panel? What kind of effect does it have on the battery life?

With the SD card slot, do I need to pay more $ for the 32 or 64gb version?

You won't be able to store apps on the card the way you can on the Internal memory. What you can store is limited, and not the app APK. Rumors are that Marshmallow 6.0 will allow you to store apps on both external and internal. But we ain't there yet. I suggest at least 32GB internal memory. At the price, you can't beat it.

I don't think there's a way to measure that. But in a totally dark room, you can see the rest of the screen does light up just a tiny amount when you're looking at the active notifications. So the whole screen is really lighting up for them.

It's a plastic phone, no doubt about it.

I couldn't disagree more. The sides are real metal, the front is all glass except for the slightly raised metal speaker grills (which help protect the screen on flat surfaces if you put it face down) and the back has a nice non-slip rubbery feel that is solid and robust. There is nothing "plasticky" to this phone at all, IMHO.
