I have a Nexus 4, you have questions. Fire away.

1) Does the touch screen lacks sensitivity (especially when typing) when the battery is charging near to 100% (somewhere 93% onward). Earth yourself to make it worse.

This was an problem on GSM Galaxy Nexus.

2) Does Wifi Direct works for file sharing in Android 4.2?
Hi Phil, I think you missed my post. If you would be kind enough to test these for me.

Thanks.

Thanks for your response.. Did you port your number over also and was it easy to do?

I ported my number over from T-Mobile prepaid. If I recall correctly, the port was completed in less than one day. At most, it was two days. I just waited for the T-mobile service to stop working. It was very easy. Keep in mind that some people have stated that StraightTalk has cut them off for too much data usage. That has not happened to me, but I just wanted to remind you. If they do cut you off, you will lose your number.

How does this Phil guy have the phone already? jw

T-mobile is at present claiming it's the same as the one Google's selling, no carrier cruft, no bloatware. We'll see. Personally I think this is bigger news than appears to be.

My phone runs of the AT&T's LTE network and the speeds are fine but when I disable LTE my 4G speed suck. Im not asking for a speed test but asking if the radios inside the Nexus 4 will be any faster than the ones in my iPhone 5.

I don't know about faster. I think it can only go as fast as the AT&T HSPA speed available in your area. The N4 has pentaband HSPA+ and is capable of download speeds up to 42mbps, but it really does depend on the network speed. So, if you're on AT&T, it's safe to say that you will not get the same speed as LTE. But if you put a T-Mobile SIM in the phone (assuming coverage is decent), then you may not notice a big difference in speed.

It is good news for users. That would at least mean: 1) hotspot working without subscribing to the T-Mobile hotspot service; 2) Google Wallet working without any hackery (remember T-Mobile is trying launch ISIS, which is in direct competition with GW).

Of course, for anyone who can spend the extra $150, it is still better to buy the Play Store variant since you won't have to tied down to any contract.
