This morning I took a shower and I put my evo under a towel while listening to iheart radio. Now the keyboard doesn't click anymore. I took it to bestbuy and there is no water damage. They can't figure it out either.....I also had a zagg put on my screen. What could he problem be?

Click as in it doesn't make a click noise when you hit a key, or is it nor registering your input at all? You're using the default keyboard?

It registers my touch just fine it just doesn't click. And I also noticed when I lock my screen it doesn't click either anymore. And I am using the default keyboard

Try changing these settings and letting me know if anything changes

Menu-Settings-Language & Keyboard-Touch Input-Text Input- Sound on Feedback. Let me know if any of these settings are not there. I may provide screenshots if you need it.

Make sure the system sound is all the way up as well.

You can still listen to calls and music from your speakers correct? Both your headpiece and speakerphone.

Try a software reboot. The last thing I may ask you to do if wipe your phone, but that depends on how much this means to you.

Well my evo is only 2 days old...so if I wipe it It shouldn't to bad. How easy would it beto get maps back. I've done a billion software reboot as well. There is another thread on this as well...something about audible tones stopped working....

Maps as in Google Maps? That should be loaded by default. The only other thing that I can think of would be some sort of glitch, or a setting somewhere that is messed up.

Ok...so I did a factory reset....and that fixed it. And I remembered that I sync my apps with app brain....so that was easy to get my apps back lol

I would just do a full wipe and see if that fixed it. Wiping and setting everything back up is a major pain though. I'm extremely used to it... Only takes me 15 minutes to have my phone back the way I want it after a full wipe. (Thanks App Brain)
