Well, you're the one that turned me on to Erica, and it would be her OG and NG reviews that, so far, are my deciding factors. So, with that in mind: Could you address a couple points she made?

• Light bleed/construction. She didn't come right out and say it in so many words, but her review leaves the impression the NG is not as solidly built as the OG. (She made a very big point of how tough the OG was, in her in-depth review.)
• Runtime? This is an aspect in which the OG excelled. The NG appears, from initial reports, to be just "meh," in this respect

So far I'm inclined to pull the trigger on an OG. But perhaps I'll wait for a few more reviews and field reports. Maybe I'll wait for a NG LTE version. Mainly because I assume it would have 700MHz band 12 support.

It's not the loudest and have a slight muffle characteristic to it (from an audiophile point of view), but it's actual very pleasant. Listening to music on it while holding the phone 2ft from your face you clearly tell the stereo effect and how much it help balanced the sound. There is a small distortion with highest volume but not always depending what you're listening to. I still have to do more test like listening to podcast while mounted on my car dashboard, but so far the stereo speakers are very nice, being somewhat an audiophile I would take it over a mono speaker that is louder.
