I just pre-ordered the Gear S2 3G from Verizon...apparently will be delivered by 11/05

Well, it'll be shipped next Monday (9th) and our local verizon store says they'll have it on Thursday. There's so many unanswered questions with this so when someone gets it, please post a thread to help others. Thanks!

Same here. But I'm not happy about it b/c I cancelled my order last week on Oct 29th. I was gonna wait & just pick it up from AT&T b/c of their upcoming 1-number service & $50 lower price.

Just got my 3g today and can say that it is a lot smaller than I was thinking. All these sites talk about how big it is,,,nope,,,it is the size of a regular wrist watch in thickness and diameter. It connected effortlessly to my S6 Edge and has been working great. I just use the screen swipes to access the different screens as opposed to the bezel ring but both are nice. Battery life is a little worse than the original gear s but that's to be expected. Wireless charger is great just sit it on it and charges,,,sooooo much better than the original pins and push system in the old gear s. Signal wise I get really good strength in my area and calls sound crystal clear. I gave my old gear s to my son but if I had to chose I would def sell my old gear s and buy this gear s 2,,,hope this helps some of you.

nashbandit1 on YouTube has answered the question that you can use the S2 3g via Bluetooth. There is a setting under Connections to have Mobile Networks "Always Off".

Thanks, but sad to hear battery life is worse than the Gear S. My biggest gripe with the Gear S was battery life. I am also considering the LG watch 3G.

As with all new devices, the battery life will most likely get better with time,,,I hope LOL,,,right now I took the watch off the charger at 430 am and at 1030 am it is at 85 percent,,,not the worst I have seen but, not as good as the first generation gear 1. Well see as time goes on,,,also I am playing around with settings and cutting things off that I dont use like the pedometer and heart rate monitor to see if it improves battery life. Will report back.

I get up at 430 too and go at full speed until 8PM. Hmm...hope it lasts
