i keep getting message that says google talk notification failed .Please help

You need to be signed in to Google for Talk to work. What error msg do you get when you try to log on or is it that you have forgotten your password?

Ive never used google talk

I had same problem. I went to my gmail setting and turned off the chat setting all fixed
