So just because it's Apple its bound to be expensive? There were rumours of the iPad being 1000 dollars and it was 500....

Looks like history was wrong.

Some may call me an Apple apologist, but come one. Seriously? Apple has always priced their products so that they earn a higher margin than any of their competition. There's value there to justify it, but their prices are higher. Every. Time.

Yes, there were rumors that the iPad was going to be $1000 and when it came it at much less than that who benefitted? Apple. Sooooo, if we follow the money, who is most likely to have leaked that $1000 price tag?

2+2 still = 4

All I can say is that I have both an iPhone 5 and an HTC One. Both are on at&t so I can swap the SIM and take the one I want. Guess which one never leaves the house...especially after the hideous ios7 "upgrade."

From your posts, you don't seem like an Apple fan(not the blind ones, ones like me that are as much unbiased as human nature allows) but I digress.

The iPod Nano is so cheap and the iWatch is an accessory to the iPhone right? I really expect it to be much cheaper then the GG. Yes their main stuff is expensive and I know that( I myself am having a hard time saving up for an iPhone 5S) but they don't make the accessories too expensive.

As matter of fact, most Apple product users are brainwashed. I agree with you that Apple products are good, but by no means are they superior to Android or Windows Phone. I handed my mate (another follower of the Apple cult) my S3, he was baffled within the first few minutes, I mean, its not rocket science, if you can't use an S3 with the Easy Mode enabled, i don't know what you could operate.

What if it is cheaper then the GG? Then what will you do? I'm gonna say it's gonna be cheaper, that's what I think.

Can you explain why you think that? Or did you just say to play devil's advocate? Nothing in Apple's history (especially recent history) provides any evidence that they will introduce a product that's less expensive than its direct competition, so why do you think that this will be the first? Do you have a reason, or is it "wishful" thinking?

What makes you think the Nano is cheap? What are you comparing it to?

My biggest complaint is trying to find business contacts when sorting by last name...
I love searching for 'Kerby Lane Cafe' and finding it under the 'C's... well, that and you should see my collection of 'Inc.'s too... ;-)

Am I missing something in using Google contacts?

I feel like everyone would have differing preferences on how their contacts are arranged. I can see Cafe's being stored in the C's. If I knew I was calling a Cafe I wouldn't mind looking through all my Cafe contacts in the "c's". I doubt you're missing anything, I think you just would prefer it to be one way and it isn't. That doesn't make anyone wrong or less of an experience. It's just an adjustment. If you're used to Apple's way and switch to Google, there will be differences that require adjustments. Just like with anything.

Now with IOS 7 iPhone has gained more reasons to prove that it is way too better than any other player in the market.
In simple words, IOS 7 has made it more user friendly and im sure u will not regret buying it.

There were a few smartphones that were more expensive than the first iPhone when introduced.

iPads is hard to gauge because they created that market. Tablets at the time were either very thick and hybrids like we see today without the detachable screen or touchscreen laptops with pen support with a flip over monitor. Those other "tablets" at the time ran in the low to high 1000s especially ones use in the medical field. So that 499 price was a breakthrough for many.

Haha, so true. Most iOS users expect just that from their phones.

Idk man they have a loyal fan base and they will pay that premium i think apples getting too comfortable with it the 5c does make a case for the slightly lower cost factor but to do that would be to admit defeat as they have ruthlessly protected the higher price so it would be a nasty sting to their devoted customers that paid all that money all these years to see it get priced in say a nexus 7 category
