I lost stereo sound in audio jack, how can I get it back?

lost stereo sound in audio jack

The stereo sound on my galaxy s6 edge's audio Jack stopped working after plugging it into an old (20+ years) sound system via auxiliary. The left still works but the right just makes a buzzing noise, please help!

Weird.

I was streaming a radio app yesterday and experienced the same thing you're describing.
mp3's from my music player still plays normal though...
