What a horrible piece of writing. No link to the actual PCMag article, no mention of the other cities, and no mention of what they used to test (an app? a site? wifi tether?).
I'm sitting in Cleveland (a suburb, actually) and I average 20 mbps via Speakeasy. Soooo........
Aww junk, got an LTE average speed battle!
...mines like 8-12 near DC I get higher and lower peaks, but 8-12 probably what I average.
I've definitely hit 20+ mbps from my office in the Ballston area of Arlington.

Kewl. I've hit 20+ before too, but it's rare. I guess my location in the middle of Old Town Alexandria isn't the sweet spot.
I'm just happy to have it, because down south at home I don't, but then I'm on wifi anyway, so it works out. I lose it about half way home on my commute.I just got 7.7 down and .5 up which has been pretty consistant in the burbs of CHI.

on my way to Feild Museum/Shedd Aquarium a few weeks back on the outskirts of Chicago (NW Indiana) I got 29.20 down / 8.97 up

This past weekend when I was in Chi town out by Ohare--I got a 30.47Mbps down and 9.69Mbps uplink using the Speedtest.net app on my android. I will upload a pic here in a bit.
Oklahoma City I average 20-30 it seems checking with speedtest app or tethering via hotspot to my laptop

Highest Ive hit is 35down and that on the edge of 4G coverage near Chicago. Chicago 4g LTE is amazing! I love living here!
