I so want an EVO my upgrade date was today and I called every Best Buy within 50 miles of me everyone is sold out I did get one to give me a rain check so they will call when they get some in and another told me they were still expecting some this week. I'm going to keep calling every day until I get one I'm tired of this Pre and all of Palms promises.

For me, if you could take the functionality of android and mesh it with the elegance of WebOS I would in mobile OS heaven.

A ind live this phone like a fat kids loves cake, best phone ever I've messed with the iphone because my ex and my brother have one and it doesn't compare.

The iphone is only cool when it its jailbroken

I may be in the minority here, but I quickly learned to live without the card system of WebOS. I much rather have widgets and 7 home screens that keep me well organized. Flipping/scrolling through launcher pages was a PITA to me.

Best phone I've ever had and in the past 3 years i've had an Iphone, 4 dif. Blackberries curve's and Bold 9700 and a G1.

Best phone I've ever owned.

I was very skeptical of those "better battery-life" claims made by HTC as well as the "better wifi range" claim. But I'm here to tell you I've experienced both since the upgrade 2 days ago.

I've very pleased with the battery lasting through 13--15 hours of use when before it would need charging well before then. Where I was getting between 3 and 5 mbps download speed, now I'm regularly getting between 10 and 12 mbps downloads.

Wonder how much better it'll be with Froyo....

My battery life plain ole sucks. 30 mins after a 100% fully charged battery overnight and NO USAGE at all and it's down to 95%. I've disabled wifi, gps, 4g, bt. and i just disabled an advanced task killer and a systray monitor that showed battery charge in "%" instead of just the battery. I've not gotten more than prbly 6 hrs. Maybe I love the damn thing so much I can't put it down and I'm just using it too much.

UPDATE: I turned off that app with the % (I'm guessing that's what it was) and I got much, much better bat life. Take note of 3rd party apps!!!!
