Samsung Galaxy Note 4: unlock download boost feature

Ive never had this feature turned on my phones before. But let me tell you its awesome. Download speeds are faster then ever. From music to apps. I love my note 4 but now its a beast. Im using sprint and the download boost feature is worth unlocking. I used Nova launcher and then uninstalled it. I actually dont mind touchwiz.

I believe you can get it on AT&T by installing a different launcher, go to a home screen and select add widgets, and you can select it. Something of that nature.

Yep. All the other major carriers hide it from users.

They mean when using apps so it will use mobile data and wifi.

Ahhh.... So disable that option in the apps themselves. Gotcha

For example, when downloading a large app from the play store, you will get a pop-up telling you it's large and suggesting you download over wifi only. You uncheck that box.

Already getting 36mbs down 22 up on AT&T LTE on speedtest where I live and still grandfathered in on unlimited data but thanks for the posting.

I already posted this a day to 2 ago but I did DL nova launcher and find and enable it.. but it did nothing but slow my wifi connection down. I get 22ish Mbps and cell should have giving me 12-1 more but I never went about the wifi and in most cases it started at 22 ish and dropped to 15.. did anyone really test it for AT&T?

First of all. Thank you guys for turning me onto Nova. So far i really love it. However, i cant find download booster in my settings. I tried to attach some screenshots, but i got a cannot attach file error. Im gonna keep nova regardless but id really like to enable this feature.

Let me go ahead and say that this is the single greatest discovery I have found for my device. I had an N3 for a year and just got the N4 last week. My home download speeds are 50 download and 5 upload (usually a little more) and have never gotten even close to that on my device. It was always about half that. I just dealt with it because it was still more than enough. After enabling the booster it was absolutely flying. Download speed was about 55. So satisfied right now.
