I moved my pictures to my SD card on my HTC Desire 626s and now i cant find them. HELP PLZ!!

I moved all my files through the file manager, including my DCIM file to my SD card (64 GB) to make more internal space for my updates. I just got back from vacation. When I went back I could only see 300 out of the 2000 pictures I had. I don't know what to do. I'm not a high tech person. Any help is appreciated.

did you try opening the files on a PC ? or just the phone gallery ?
perhaps you could try a clear data for your gallery (so it reloads all pictures?)
