Question I need help adding a website shortcut to my new phone's home screen

I just purchased a new BLU G43 cell phone with Android 13. While trying to set it up I tried to add some website shortcuts to my home screen but I couldn't because there's no "Add to Home Screen" option in the drop down menu in Chrome. What do I need to do to fix this issue?

I did try the Opera browser and it had an option to add a website shortcut to the home screen but when I tried to I received a message box that said it failed to add the shortcut to the home screen, which it did.

I really enjoyed the convenience of these website shortcuts on my old phone, I hope there is a way to add them to my new one.

Welcome to Android Central! I wonder if that's a limitation of Blu's launcher. Try installing a 3rd party launcher like Nova, and see if that allows you to create a shortcut.

I thought that maybe this might be some kind of Android Go limitation, but from what I can tell online, that phone has full Android 13, not the Android Go version.

The Nova Launcher did the trick. The "Add to Home Screen" option comes up now and works great. Thank you so much.
