Hi guys,

Hoping someone can help me.

I've got a HTC One X that is currently stuck on the HTC splash screen. looks like previous owner unlocked it, as it had a version of CWM as Recovery.

I'm wanting to Restore the phone back to Original Stock Firmware/ROM (JB or Higher if available), but so far, with all the Tutorials and such I've read through, the links in a lot of them seem to be no more.

Phone details;

C:\Android\HTC One X>fastboot getvar all
(bootloader) version: 0.5a
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 1.36.0000
(bootloader) version-baseband: 5.1204.162.29
(bootloader) version-cpld: None
(bootloader) version-microp: None
(bootloader) version-main: 3.14.980.27
(bootloader) serialno:
(bootloader) imei:
(bootloader) product: endeavoru
(bootloader) platform: HBOOT-T30S
(bootloader) modelid: PJ4610000
(bootloader) cidnum: OPTUS001
(bootloader) battery-status: good
(bootloader) battery-voltage: 3669mV
(bootloader) devpower: 47
(bootloader) partition-layout: None
(bootloader) security: on
(bootloader) build-mode: SHIP
(bootloader) boot-mode: FASTBOOT
(bootloader) commitno-bootloader: None
(bootloader) hbootpreupdate: 2
(bootloader) gencheckpt: 0
all: Done!

Bootloader Details
*** UNLOCKED ***

HBOOT - 1. 36. 0000
CPLD - None
MICROP - None
RADIO - 5. 1204. 162. 29
eMMC - bootmode: Disabled
CPU-bootmode: Disabled
HW Secure Boot: Enabled
Modem Path: OFF

So far, I've only come across an RUU file named;

RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_Optus_AU_1.28.980.10_Radio_1 .1204.103.14_release_258004_signed.exe

But it appears to be ICS, a lower version and different Radio...

Is there an 'RUU' that's more Stock, maybe a ROM directly from HTC?
If I get an Optus RUU... does that mean it'll have all that Optus bloatware in it ?

From reading around, I believe I'll need 3x files?

- Stock Recovery Image
- Firmware Image
- Boot Image (not sure what this is for, last custom rom I tried didn't mention flashing this file.. what's it for?)

Any help would be awesome! if you need any additional info, please let me know.

Thanks

Seems that we got similar problem... Did you try to flash older ruu you found?
I unlocked bootloader, installed cwm recovery and tried to install some cm. think it was 12.xx.. but Igot message to upgrade hboot.... So to do that so far as I know I need to install stock rom and I tried with upgrade that official android which was on the phone download. Never booted again pass htc logo. Bootloader is working, I even flashed stock recovery and then it shows that ota download is wrong cid. So I will try with the one you found... Just to see what is happening cause boot and recovery are fine but stock is ****.... Tried to rewrite cid got error to many links... Gl and hear you after...
