I need some helpkeeping my phone from changing volumes on its own please

I have a gaxaxy s7 edge and at night I turn all volumes down so not disturbed while sleeping only to be woke up to notification or phone calls ect. It's driving me batty

100% correct with this suggestion. The Do Not Disturb function should help alleviate a lot of night time interruptions.

Setup is very easy and straightforward, and it can be set to enable/disable on a schedule, and can be manually enabled / disabled through the quick settings.

Yes I have do not disturb set on phone,and when I was still occasionally getting disturbed I started additionally turning all volumes down .ringer volume gets stightly turned up with notification volume and systwm volume turned back to max volume.

Check the additional settings for the Do Not Disturb.
Gives you more control over what shows, what alerts.
