I use Random Rom 2.2 Hawk and so far no problem with it just one random reboot in about a week and everything works fine in it even de hot spot hack

Yes, all ROMs work well at the beginning, but after time, they break down and become unstable. Let us know if your experience continues to be carefree after 7-10 days.

This statement is so true. Pretty much every single custom rom I've used has slowly became unstable especially GB roms. Only stable rom I've had so far is stock ec05, period.

Don't you think it odd that there were no leaks through all of September? Is it possible that they have given up the idea of GB for the Epic?

The GB update for the Optimus S, by most accounts, was an utter disaster. So much so that sprint halted the OTA rollout. That right there might hint why they're being cautious with the Epic. Sprint might be meticulously checking the ROMs Samsung is sending them. The Optimus was preloaded with about as close to stock Froyo as you'll find on a non nexus phone so I can't imagine what hell keyboard support and Touchwiz might give to SamSprint. Doesn't seem like it should be so tough, but that's the nature of the beast sometimes.
