AC Question

I want to clear up some system memory on my S5. In settings/general/storage it shows cached data of 6 GB, which is a lot of my total memory (only have 16 GB total). If you click on this, it says "clear cached data"? I am afraid to do this, what will this do to the phone? I already cleared the cached of the internet browser and that did not clear up much space. I have gone through apps and cleared some cache, but not enough to free up space. I added an SD card and moved as much as I could to the card. My phone keeps having problems because I run out of storage. Advice would be appreciated.

You can do it. It won't hurt anything. It just clears out the cache from your apps but it won't get rid of the data.
