I need urgent HelP with firmware I am stuck in firmware upgrade problem

I followed direction with Kies to upgrade my phone to JB... half way through it says firmware upgrade encountered an issue please select recovery mode and try again... it doesn't work... I have tried everything I can.. can't get it to go into boot mode at all. when I hold down the volume and start and the warning screen comes up and then when I press up to continue it goes right back to the error screen. What can I do? I have also uninstalled kies.. Tried different ports.. different computers everything.

1. What is the exact error. It is hard to trobleshoot something when you don't know what exactly took place.
2. Is the error in KIES or on the phone intself.
3. Have you tried a emergency recovery from Kies using download mode. Download Mode and Recovery are two different things.
4. Will the phone boot up into android at all even if it is ICE or Gingerbread.
5. Are you using the samsung cable that came with it or a cheap alternative
6. Are any errors present on the computer. Like some of the drivers not loading correctly, or unrecognized devices. Or even messages about the USB connection running at the wrong speed.
