I thought I could wait until Pixel 2 but my 6P has just been getting too slow lately even with a factory reset. I still love the phone way better than the Note 5 which I gave to my wife.

I was happy when I received the email from Googs today that my time on the waiting list was over. I should get my phone around Turkey Time, Nov 23-25.

Usually I would have thought it would have been a few more weeks before they started selling again, maybe it's because they are in charge now? Still I can't wait to get my new phone. Not sure what to do with my 6P once I get it though. I'm so frickin excited!!!

Really surprising to hear your 6P slowed down. I had mine for a full year and it only got faster with updates. That phone was blazing fast - not noticeably slower than the pixel for many tasks. Come to think of it, it was completely flawless for the entire time I owned it.

I pulled the trigger and bought a Pixel XL today. If not for the fate of the Note 7, I likely would not have even given this a look. After being in a denial phase over the Note 7, I have reached the acceptance phase and realize the Note 7 is dead and is not coming back. I don't need any more lithium ion paper weights on my desk!

Just curious as to why your 6p is getting slow considering it's pure android and all
