I put my micro SD card from my old tablet in to new tablet and now everything is gone???

Hello I got a new Samsung Tablet and took Micro SD card out of old samsung tablet into my new tablet bc I have 100's of movies saved on it and now everything is gone. Did putting it into new tablet somehow automatically format or delete all my stuff?

Not unless you had it encrypted. Then it will only work in the particular phone (not even another phone that came off the same assembly line at the same time). Otherwise, the SD card is like a hard drive - there's stuff on it, most of which is files.

The only possibility is putting a >32GB card into a device that has a 32GB maximum ability, but you went the other way - older to newer - so that's not a consideration.

In your old tablet, was your SD card formatted as internal or external?
