I should have just left it alone. Please help!

So I wanted to flash carbon rom coming from clean rom 7. Did all necessary backups and what not, flashed the rom and gapps. Upon startup no network can be found its in roaming mode. So I flashed my backup and still in roaming. Checked my imei and it's still there everything looks OK. It just can't find service. I made a nvbackup a while back for such an occasion but all my data is correct. I've flashed aokp in the past and never had this problem anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks in advance.

It's been awhile since I used CarbonRom, but I thought it was based on 4.2.2, and had an associated set of modem and rpm files - did you flash those?

Not that I know of just the rom and gapps. But on a good note I've fixed it. I had to NV restore in terminal reboot, removed sim and reinstalled, reflashed nandroid backup again and now I've got my 4G back. Thank God! I don't know what happened I've flashed dozens on roms many aosp ones and this has never happened. I'm a little reluctant to try and flash carbon again. Is there something I'm missing to get it work? Or could it be the rom? It is the latest nightly 4.3.

I've had problems restoring the way you did before but you should try this, it is a lot simpler and had worked for me in the past

Nightlies are classified as unstable. That may have been one of the side effects.

I think I'm going to flash the 1.8 release version of carbon rom tonight. Hopefully everything goes Ok this time.
