There are just so many factors with battery life. On my note 3 on VZW (waiting for my upgrade date to get the G4) I sometimes only get 2 and a half hours SOT and sometimes I get over 7. I'm just hoping I can get close to the same with the G4.

A factory reset is recommended and works many times, when you are experiencing issues after an update.

Not the best but i did watch an hour long podcast at 1080p on youtube with 50% screen brightness. Wi-Fi though.

Nice to see screen on time discussion. If every phone doesn't get exactly 'X' number of screen on time then battery should definitely suck. Doesn't matter how I use the phone, what apps I have, how many accounts are auto sync, brightness levels, signal strengths etc but person A said he got 'X' hours on some phone so I should get same otherwise this is crap battery.

Dang that's some good SoT! I got 25hrs and 3.5hrs SoT with mixed use. I'll try again to keep track next week.

That is one of the problems, battery usage is very subjective and a lot goes into it.

Wait did you charge during that time? Can you post your stats for us?

I usually give my devices about a week to "settle." Yesterday was my first full day with the device. I unplugged at around 4:30am and plugged it back in this morning around 10:15am with about 15% remaining. I think I was around 3.5 hours of screen time. I turned it completely off at around 11:00 last night because I was at my girlfriend's place and I didn't want it to disturb us since there's no mute mode. I turned it back on around 8:30 this morning. Right now I'm at 1hr 45m unplugged and 38 mins of screen time and I'm at 87%. That doesn't seem very good to me, but I'll give it time.

It also comes down to cell service, screen brightness and just what apps you are using or usage style.
No body gets the same results.

It will get better with time. Here's my battery stats. It went from really bad when I first got it to pretty decent. Of couse coming from a 6 plus I'm going to be very critical since I never had battery problems with it, but it seem to be getting better with time.
