ok I have a virgin mobile LG OPTIMUS V. I recently rooted this phone and flashed clockworkmod recovery and i flashed cm7. For reasons I shouldnt have to go into I had to return this phone back to stock so i went into CWM recovery and did a backup of my last stock root 2.2. Then i accidently went into privacy and hit reset factory. Now my phone only boots up in clockworkmod recovery over and over. Can i fix this somehow? Thanks

do you still have the cm7 zips on the sdcard? id so just reflash it, can you please be more detailed, id honestly love to help

hey sk8dayfuknight can i talk to u on a messenger or email. Even here is fine but i need to fix this asap. But yeah i have teh cm7 still on sdcard and i already tried to reflash it and it just continues to boot up in recovery even after i reflash it :(

i basicly just did a system restore/factory settings through the phones settings and that is a No No i found out after I already did it. Now nothing is working. It just keeps booting up in clockworkmod recovery over and over even after i reflash the cm7. :(

are you sure your doing the steps right? wipe data/factory reset, then go to advanced, wipe dalvick cache, then, if you want u can wipe your battery stats, after wiping, go to install zip from sdcard, then find the debug zip and install it, next install the nightly of cm7, then install the gapps, then reboot.

i do them steps yes but im not sure what you are talking about with the debug ziP?? i dont have or use that. Also i dont have nightly cm7 im using the aosp cm7 mod. i do them steps without the debug and no go for me

thats why its not working... idk the cmds for the dubugging or id tell you, but just download the debug zip from the cm7 thread, and push it into your sdcard. then go from there with the steps i gave you. use adb shell to push the debug zip into your /sdcard

im not sure where to exactly find this debug zip but couldnt i just put it on the root of my sd card without having to use adb? I know i can still mount my usb in clockworkmod recovery.

this is the message i got when i tried to install debug zip file. **Amend scripting (update-script) is no longer supported. Amend scripting was deprecated by Google in Android 1.5. It was necessar to remove it when upgrading to the ClockworkMod 3.0 gingerbread based recovery. Please switch to Edify scripting (updater-script and update-binary) to create working update zip packages. Installation aborted.** SO what does all that mean? :(

did you wipe everything before you tried to flash the debug?

someone said this one will work recovery-RA-supersonic-v2.3.img. But im having a problem. Im only able to get into clockworkmod recovery. The bootloader technique to hold power and volume down button isn't working. How else should i flash this recovery? I have the .img on the root of my sdcard
