I think my HTC One M9 is faulty....

...because after reading so may threads here mine seems to be working really well so must be broken.

Yes the battery is not the best but it gets through a day, it doesn't get so hot I cannot hold it. The processor is great it has not stuttered or missed a beat yet. I can see the design may bother some M7 and M8 owners but still it looks and feels so amazing.

Surely I am not the only one enjoying this device? It would be good to see this forum not filled with people complaining all the time (puts on my flame resistant suit before I get accused of being stupid etc.).

I agree. Upgraded from m7 and I am so impressed with the phone. I've had no issues and sense 7 runs so smoothly. Awesome phone

Maybe that's the key, with updates and app updates things are better than a month ago?

I'm baffled by all the negativity as well. I love this phone, and this coming from a guy switches phones regularly. Overall, for me, the HTC One M9 provides the best all around experience of any phone currently available. It's a pleasure to hold and a joy to use. The speakers and overall craftsmanship are epic. I do like Sense, at least compared to the other overlays, and I can live with the camera even though it's not as good as my previous phone, the Note 4. This device is a true keeper for me.

I'm in this camp too. It is frustrating to see all of the bashing of the device. I had an m8 and took a brief run with an iPhone but missed android too much so I got an m9. So far I've had on par battery life with the m8 and no overheating issues to speak of. Sure the auto brightness is more aggressive on the m9 but the screen is great when set at the correct level. My only issue is with large group MMS there is some delay when opening and scrolling through but the other phones I had did the same thing. My wife still has the m8 and it is a great device but the m9 just does things to be a little better. I'm happy I went with it.

Glad you also feel the same, have not tried the large group MMS messages yet though.
