I tried to hold off on the update...

And then it downloaded, rebooted and now I have the new update! Ugh!
Not in love with the font. It looks much thinner and not as crisp and dark? 😕

Darn... That sucks that it happened... I worry that it will randomly download itself onto my Note someday.

It might not hurt at all!
Here's a lollipop.
Take the rest of the day off and come back tomorrow. :)

Well, JBGurl how are things going so far with the update? What carrier are you on?

I haven't noticed much issues with 4.4.2 on my t-mobile Note 3 and i had it for about a month.. If you have issues you could try to Flash 4.3 back onto it

Yes. I hope it goes well.

I haven't had issues except for the first 2 days where all the sync settings in my Google account were turned back on, where I had disabled some like Picasa, People etc; - and it would not sync at all with a red error symbol saying temporary sync error - try later.

Wifi still isn't great for me, others say it's better.

You got it very late so I think it should have better firmware with patches.
It may not run well in the first few days re battery and OS use but it should settle down. Advice is on the threads.

Are you going to change your name?

So far so good. It's only been a day so we shall see!
I've noticed it's much quicker when opening up apps and switching between them. I like that. The font? Not so much.
I haven't noticed any huge changes with the upgrade. My default mailbox still looks the same, but the "sync" button has to be on at all times for my email to get through.

I don't think I want to change my name. Lol :D Jellybean sounds so much better than Kitkat! Haha :D

HaHa. Yes it does sound better. Anyway there will be plenty of new "Kitty -"'s coming on the scene. :)

Generally for me and my smaller uses there is little difference in performance and appearance. *You're actually probably right about the font being thinner.
I would need to go through a 4.3 and 4.4 side by side to see what's changed.
You will have a new version of S-Note which has more features if you use that.

So, as Deb asked, what carrier or version were you on that it was pushed to your phone.
