Android Central Question

My mobile is Sony Xperia Z. I, for some reasons uninstalled google play service updates then tried to update it again but it says "can't install app". I even tried to manually install apks, but it keeps says " package not installed"

Cleaned google play store cach and data, restarted.
Cleared google play service cach and date, restarted but nothing worked.

What should i do now ?

Welcome to Android Central! Go to the Google Play Services page on the Play Store website (not the Play Store app), and click the Installed button. On the next page, look for your phone in the dropdown selection menu, and see if you can select it for installation.

I went to google play service using play store website. It says there that it's installed. I clicked on "installed, found my mobile listed, and then pressed on install.
Few seconds later, the app started to install the service but after got imstalled, an message appeard saying "can't install app" like everytime i try to update it .
I don't want to reset my phone to factory, so please help me !!

If the app is missing, resetting the phone won't get it back. "reset" really means "delete anything you've added", it doesn't install anything.

I tried this step but also didn't work.
I have something to tell. This problem is worldwide. I have new j7 prime phone. There ia no problem with the google service but i found and update and wanted to upgrade but the same problem presented there "app cant be installed"

I think i have to find out what version i had uninstalled then download it manually, but how to find out what version was on my phone ??

That is completely wrong. Resetting the phone will bring back the factory image and will install all the necessary Google services back.

That is completely wrong. Factory reset removes anything you've added and changes anything you've changed back.

Android is open source - show me where FR adds anything.

You are saying that the app is missing. If you referring to the Google services, of course it will be installed again after the factory reset. It's binded inside the factory image on every Android smartphone. It seems to me that you don't know what you are talking about.

The issue here is that the OP uninstalled updates to Google Play Services, and can't seem to get the updates back. Google Play Services is still present, but is at the factory version. Google Play Services will still be there after a factory reset, but the problem may still remain -- that the OP can't update Play Services.
