Thank you!! I'll take a look at it in just a minute. That's awesome. I'll have to see if I can figure out how to manually update. I did it on my Axon 7 but the honor maybe set up different.

I tried it literally like ten to twenty times and finally got it to work. So don't give up after the first time

Is the 5.0.1 7B388 build? If so I just got the update and downloading it now. I wondered what was going on but it appears this might be the update I was looking for. I'm glad I got pretty quickly. I didn't know when I'd get it.

Well that's what i have. I believe it's the latest mass released build.

Me too. 5.0.1, b388. A couple days ago a b389 build popped up on firmware finder. I imagine we'll get an ota of this in the near future.

Huawei already announced two year updates... That includes oreo.

Didn't try. I usually wait till the ota eventually comes my why. I really only use FF to see what's coming down the pipeline in the near future.

As you stated earlier, that can change. Not all companies keeps their promise. Until huawei announced exactly which models will get it, I won't keep my hopes up just yet.

As you stated earlier, that can change. Not all companies keeps their promise. Until huawei announced exactly which models will get it, I won't keep my hopes up just yet.

Even announcement doesn't mean much... They can reneg on the promise. Has happened to me before in the past.

The honor 5x isn't on nougat despite being promised 2 years updates
