That's true bc it runs pure Android as Google intended Android to run initially meaning without these companies placing their own skins on top of Android causing it to lag and be choppy and sticky. Only Android devices that run butter smooth would be the Nexus line, pixel line and lastly Huawei honor which they have totally done something different in adding their heavy skin on top of Android and it still run as smooth as a pixel or a Nexus does. I'm unsure of how they did this but as they have stated their company is built off innovation.Google/Pixel dont only get updates fast, they are also great products. Smooth interface and great android experience

Only guaranteed software updates until next month though. Then it's only security updates for another year.Pixel C is a good device. I believe it's still getting updates.
