Yeah the black front helps hide that huge chin. But white looks good when screen is on, but cheap when it's off IMO

Can always get a dbrand or something to cover the front. Should be OK under a case. Not sure about a screen protector.

Unfortunately because of the glass section of the phone any dbrand skin pops out and has an outline that shows around the back glass. In my opinion it looks ugly.

I liked white phones when phones were still pretty small, such as the iPhone SE and the iPhone 7 even. The white doesn't look too distracting when the phone has an overall smaller footprint. However, the larger the phone gets, the more distracting the white gets to me. Even so, I don't think I could even take the normal sized Pixel in white, just because of that chin. Had it not been so pronounced, I probably would have gone that way for a nice change.

My Nexus 6P got swiped off a bar so I had to pick up something quickly. I had a silver on order with Google, but all I could snag from a Verizon store was the black.

The silver/white came in, so I had both to look at. I've never had a white phone before, but actually like it a lot and am going to keep it. I've got a Ringke clear case and a Tech21 https://smile.amazon.com/Tech21-Tec...id=1479308469&sr=8-3&keywords=tech21+pixel+xl which looks especially good with the silver/white phone.

In case you're wondering, the resale price on swappa is such that I won't loose much money at all!
