Hey all,
There's no doubt that apps that back up preferences and setting and allow them to be imported are convenient and save a lot of time..... But that's not always the case.
Sure, if you factory reset the phone, when you reinstall the appreciate, it will pull the strings from the SD portion of the phone.
HOWEVER, the Rezound's SD (as you probably know, is simply a partition of the on-board memory. If you move to a new device, and transfer your SD card, the setting STILL have to go back and manually locate the backup files since they are not on the physical SD card - this can prove to be maddening.
Some apps do allow you to specify the location of the backup files, which could then be placed on your external SD. 99% of apps, however, do not allow this.
Just an observation.
Any thoughts?
