Let the RAXR family be the guinea pigs on ICS.![]()
Not really much of a Guinea pig with ICS out for a long while now and fine tuned.

To bad with all the new Vz pricing just announced that it's pointless to have a smart phone. Those prices are ridiculous!! A smart phone was made for streaming and data. I think 1 gb a month was 40$ crazy...
The only LTE ICS phone on VZ's network is the Galaxy Nexus, and it's been a buggy mess since day one and, according to a buddy of mine who's got one, even the last update didn't fix them all.
And Motorola has no experience in ICS updates other than the Razr and the Xoom and the Razr update hasn't been released yet.
I expect that VZ and Moto wants it to go as smooth as possible and avoid a bunch of drama.
That's not really true. They did fix the radio and the 3g to 4g hand off. Now, albeit, I can't stand the stock os and went with a custom ROM. But that custom ROM has drastically improved the Nexus. And that's the real beauty behind the Nexus. 4.0.4 has really improved the experience of the Nexus device.
The reason why Moto has issues is due to blur. It's easier for touchwiz and sense to make that transition due to their structure.
You say Moto has no experience... Yet they had plenty of time to make adjustments. Slow and steady doesn't necessarily win the race. Because there is a chance you can be completely left behind. JB is coming out soon.

Have you worked on the source code for TouchWiz, Sense, and Blur? How can you be so sure that Motorola is having issues due to Blur and its structures.
"Jelly Bean" hasn't been announced so how can you say it'll be out soon?

Moto's structure has always had this issue. Why are they always last in updates? HTC a close second.
JB is inevitable. Google IO 2011 was when ICS was announced as the unification of gingerbread and honeycomb. Google IO 2012 projects JB.

Or they could just not be throwing enough resources at updating older devices.
If they announce the next version of Android at Google I/O, that's probably what it'll just be - an announcement. It'll likely be out in the fall if that happens, not "soon".
Personally, I'd like to see the ICS share get above 25% before they even start releasing JB. 7% is embarrassing.

I think when Verizon pushes the Razr and RazrMaxx update the percentage will bump up quite a bit. It's supposed to happen this month...
That was exactly my point. Verizon, Google, and Android OEMs aren't doing it right. Verizon is marketing to 12 year old boys with swords, explosions, and crappy tag lines. Samsung is making fun of Apple users. HTC is just being weird with their One series commercials. Google is the only one doing it right. I've seen some newer "Droid" commercials from Verizon, and if they keep doing that, they'll sell a lot more phones. Breath some life into Android marketing, that's a big thing that's holding us back.
Any bets Motorola finally gets its act together on this within a few weeks of Jelly Bean being released?

Jelly bean is not going to be released soon. It is just going to be talked about at google io next week.
