when do you guyd think Ice-Cream Sandwhich will be deployed for the Thunderbolt? I can't wait to see what it brings to the table.
Any guesses as to what you think it will bring? Will it be major updates and upgrades?
Unfortunately we don't even know if ICS will be brought to or be able to run on the Thunderbolt. Supposedly ICS is finally supposed to be able to take advantage of multi-core processors, but then again as someone else said, that's what they said about GB before it was released also.
I'm pretty positive that ICS will come to the TB, Google wouldn't leave the Nexus S behind that quickly and that phone isn't dual core. Also, if an OS can take advantage of dual core processors that doesn't exactly mean that it won't work just fine on single core phones. If anything we might not be able to take advantage of some minor things like dual core games and apps.
I wish Google gave all Android phones as much care as Nexus phones and Verizon gave their other phones as much care as they do their DROID line. Which is why I hoped the Thunderbolt would be a DROID phone.
I thought it was confirmed somewhere that ICS will NOT come to the Thunderbolt? Maybe I'm wrong (or misread it), I dunno.
Is there any word on what ICS does?
I'd have to look it up again, but the short answer is that it's supposed to basically be the mobile version of HC.
Ah thanks that would be helpful
